The first image is a drawing that served as a basis for the stencil. The stencil itself, unfortunately, didn't survive. There were only two prints, but I have played with Photoshop layers transformations.
I tried gelli printing for the first time. It wasn't a successful first go, but hopefully I've learned something for the future.

I have always had problems with straight lines, so I have avoided drawing buildings at all costs. However, maybe the time has come to leave my comfort zone and try something I suck at. Here are some perspective exercise drawings I have done in the last couple of months.
The last few years I have been reading a lot (over a hundred books per year). And since sometimes it is hard to motivate myself to draw, I thought, what a great way - to read and then make a few drawings based on a book. Middlemarch by George Eliot Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Sometimes the images from the film erase what we had imagined when reading a book. Sometimes the film makers change things a lot. I thought my illustrations are closer to what Rowling described. Trials of Apollo by Rich Riordan A Haunting in the Arctic by Carolyn Jess-Cooke This is actually not an illustration to any book I've read. Possibly one for the book I'm going to write one of these days.
Last year, my best friend, Iza Stokholm, passed away from a brain tumour. I've looked at some old photos of her and sketched her as she was in her early 20's. I miss her.
I have been neglecting this website for a long time. I haven't even been scanning my work, photographing it and just posting it on my personal Facebook page. This post may be a bit random, but I have to start somewhere. These hail back from 2021. Last year I challenged myself to do Inktober. All of my drawings were based on Greek mythology and most of them were copies of famous and less known artwork. The one below is an original idea and composition. It represents Hera getting rid of Hephaestus. And an experimental monoprint from last month.
I haven't done much drawing recently, but also I couldn't update the website. It looks like I'm able to post again. Hopefully I can start drawing regularly again too. Here are some portraits I have done recently. I'm a bit out of practice! And there is Photoshop magic:
